Job Context

We are looking for an individual who are interested to work in a tissue culture lab to produce plantlet of different crops.

Job Responsibilities

Ready to complete desired plant regeneration protocol in in vitro technique

Explant collection and sterilization

Periodically subculture and shoot multiplication at appropriate shooting media

To ready appropriate rooting media and generate rooting plantlets

To make appropriate seedling bed and fulfil plantlet hardening at a fixed time

Works on Aeroponic and hydroponic plant cultivation system

Works on net house Mini tuber production from potato plantlets

Educational Requirements

MSc in Botany / Diploma in Agriculture

Skills Required: Plant Breeding, plant tissue culture

Experience Requirements

3 to 4 year(s)

The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

Lab technician

The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Additional Requirements

Age 25 to 40 years

Both males and females are allowed to apply

The applicants should have experience with Tissue culture plantlet production, Hardening plantlets and fruit settings.

Experience in relevant field will be given preference

Have practical knowledge on production planning and production process

Basic knowledge in planning and execution of research works as well as product evaluation activities.

Solution driven, smart, approachable and possesses ability to work with people from different backgrounds

Must have skill of multitasking

Properly manage any unwanted situation

Must have honest and hardworking
